Battle of Iax
The Battle of Iax was an engagement of the Plague Wars in which Mortarion’s Death Guard fought Imperial defenders for the world of Iax. The Plague Wars are the Death Guard’s campaigns of the late 41st and early 42nd millennia, waged as the Primarch Mortarion, now a Daemon Primarch bound to Nurgle, sought to spread the Plague God’s influence through Imperial space.
