Eisenhorn’s confrontation with House Glaw turned Gudrun’s noble estates into a war zone before the capital transfer. Pontius Glaw’s cult, Gorgone Locke’s enforcers, and Commodus Voke’s puritan pressure collided while the court still pretended etiquette could save it. The fight spent houses, retainers, and the last polite fictions of Gudrun’s rule. Glaw did not stay buried. Gudrun did not stay capital.
