House Glaw Inquisitorial purge

The House Glaw Inquisitorial purge was an Inquisitorial action, led by Commodus Voke, against House Glaw on Gudrun. It targeted the household as a whole, on the grounds of the cult of Pontius Glaw and the tortures of Gorgone Locke. The purge took place while Eisenhorn’s own cases were also running through the same bloodline. The cult of Pontius Glaw and the tortures of Gorgone Locke gave the puritans, the Inquisitors who pursued the case, all the warrants they required. Estates belonging to the house fell, and retainers gave testimony against it. The purge reduced the house’s holdings but did not end the influence of Pontius Glaw in later decades. The Glaw name, formerly a title, became a curse in Helican usage.
