The Sangprimus Portum seizure was the taking of a spaceport of the Imperial Palace on Terra, linked to Belisarius Cawl and the Primaris programme. Sangprimus Portum is recorded as one of the Palace’s great landing facilities, and later tradition associates it with the Blood Angels’ station during the Siege of Terra. It is treated here as a Terran event of the Imperium’s Indomitus era, and its detailed particulars are only thinly attested. The stakes are those of any spaceport on the Throneworld. Control of a Palace landing facility governs the arrival of fleets, reinforcements and Adeptus Mechanicus cargoes, which is why the event is tied on the timeline to Cawl’s work and to the Primaris Space Marines. Accounts differ on which parties held the port before the seizure and on how long the action lasted.
