Bray'arth Ashmantle

Sokhar Bray'arth was Captain of the Salamanders Fourth until Ymgarl's Genestealers put him in a sarcophagus. The Chapter later sealed that sarcophagus inside the Iron Dragon, a relic said to be Vulkan's work, because only a will that stubborn could ride the machine without being eaten by it.

He vanished under Casvsarae for nine days chasing Black Legion and abhumans through the ducts, then smashed back into daylight so coated in soot the Chapter named him Ashmantle. Pellas Mir'san woke him for Badab with the reluctance Nocturne reserves for weapons that do not come back quiet.

Nocturne likes its heroes burning and present. Bray'arth is burning and boxed. The Iron Dragon still walks when the Promethean Cult decides the omen is worse than the awakening.
