Iskandar Khayon is a sorcerer of the Black Legion and a Thousand Sons exile who helped Abaddon build the warband that replaced the Sons of Horus. He survived long enough to give an account of that process to the Inquisition.
His career began with Prospero, and he employed the Canticle as his method. He killed and bound, and he loved and lost. During the Long War he sat in the Ezekarion, the inner circle of Abaddon the Despoiler, where his role was that of a strategist rather than a close-combat warrior. His familiar was named Gyre.
The Black Legion’s organisation owes part of its design to Khayon. He is distinct from Ahriman: as a son of Prospero, he chose allegiance to a Warmaster over adherence to the Rubric.
