Njal Stormcaller

Njal Stormcaller is High Rune Priest of the Space Wolves, a Fenrisian seer known as the Tempest That Walks. His reputation rests chiefly on an occasion when he called an ice storm down upon a Bloodthirster, a greater daemon of Khorne. Nightwing rides on his shoulder.

Heimdall recovered Njal from a failing ship. Nightwing was given to him in recognition of his saving an Iron Priest. After the Primaris Marines joined the Chapter, Njal followed a spectre of the Thousand Sons back to Prospero. There he led survivors of the 13th Company out of a labyrinth that Magnus still treated as his own.

Leman Russ, primarch of the Space Wolves, departed, but Njal remained and continued to use the weather in the Chapter’s service. Fenris continues to produce storms, and Njal continues to command them.
