Mesucon

Mesucon was Siridar Count of House Megron, a Tallarn-born Imperial Knight who took a household engine into the virus-killed tank war and tried to make feudal manners mean something in a desert that ate houses. He was a noble on a planet that had stopped being a court.

Knights on Tallarn were skyline and target at once. Mesucon's House Megron fought in that geometry: big enough to matter, slow enough to be hunted, proud enough not to sit the war out in a vault while the Army burned its last armour.

The file does not close him. Missing, on that world, is often just a way of saying the dust kept the banner. House Megron still had a Count on the lists. The Khedive did not confirm whether the engine ever came home to a hold that still existed.
