N’Kari

N’Kari is a daemon of Slaanesh, classed as a Keeper of Secrets in some sources and a Daemon Prince in others, who was once a mortal. Slaanesh is also styled the Prince of Pleasure and She Who Thirsts. N’Kari serves that power as a champion.

As a mortal, N’Kari earned daemonhood on a world that Chaos was unable to hold. As a daemon, it boarded the Vengeful Spirit in opposition to the Emperor, and later clung to Fulgrim when Lorgar attempted to restrain the Phoenician. It has killed Asurmen and was lanced back to the Warp by Drastanta. It has also hunted Eldrad’s soul as sport. On the ruined world of Malan’tai, it consumed spirit stones until Grey Knights drained what it had taken and destroyed it in the Dome of Crystal Seers.

N’Kari changes form readily, shifting between a swollen, serpentine shape and a lean, duelist’s one, and habitually closes to very short range of its opponents. Its record spans encounters with several notable figures, and Slaanesh does not retain unremarkable champions. N’Kari’s standing as a favoured servant of that power rests on this history.
