Dravian Klayde

Dravian Klayde, called the Carrion, was a Raven Guard legionary so rebuilt after Breg-shei that even an incomplete Techmarine looked like a different species. Deliverance had made him a shadow. The bionics made him a rumour with a power plant, not an Iron Hand who had lost his way.

Malcador took him as a Knight-Errant because sabotage does not care whether the saboteur still has original hands. Klayde worked Vertex Australis and the Martian circuits, then carried that unfinished conversion to Luna, until Aulus Scaramanca put him down.

The Carrion died a Raven Guard in black. He never went home to Kiavahr as a finished priest of the machine. Flesh, to Klayde, had already failed. The Heresy merely agreed, and then billed him for the remaining parts.
