The Ultramarines are the largest and most honoured Space Marine Chapter, descended from the XIII Legion led by Primarch Roboute Guilliman. They are exemplars of the Codex Astartes, which Guilliman himself authored, and serve as the model for most successor Chapters. Based on the world of Macragge in Ultramar, they have been instrumental in countless campaigns across Imperial history.
