Eikos Lamiad was Tetrarch of Konor and Guilliman's champion, one of the four lords who ran Ultramar when the primarch was away. Calth wrecked him. He came back in bionics and kept the title, a Tetrarch who had learned that the Five Hundred Worlds could fail in an afternoon and still expected him to hold a forge-moon afterward.
He introduced Ventanus to Calth's seneschals on a day that was supposed to be logistics. When the Word Bearers arrived he brought the Neride 51st into Lanshear with Nicodemus's Titans and enough weight to let Tawren retake the grid. The Iron Warden of Konor did not get a clean war. He got a rebuilt body and a realm on fire.
Konor wanted forge-world status and got a Tetrarch in pieces instead. Lamiad remained Guilliman's champion because the office survived the wounds. Ultramar has always liked officials who keep working after the theoretical dies.
