Heritor Asphodel was Nadzybar’s most gifted magister of engines, the builder of woe machines that first tore Ashek II apart.
He preferred Heritor to Magister — inheritance of Imperial worlds back into Chaos. Crow-Hand and the Hammerstone Kings forced Titans onto Ashek; Balhaut saw the same machines stall Silver Guard before he fled Nadzybar’s fall.
On Verghast he turned Ferrozoica into a weapon and rode a command land-cruiser until Gaunt’s scratch-company raid killed him with an axe-rake in Kolea’s wake.
