Commissar Viktor Hark

Commissar Viktor Hark is an Astra Militarum commissar who served in the Sabbat Worlds Crusade alongside Ibram Gaunt of the Tanith First and Only. As a member of the Commissariat, he held the dual duty of every commissar: maintaining discipline and morale among Imperial Guard regiments, and leading from the front when a battle required it. His place of birth and early career are not firmly recorded, and accounts differ on the details of his formation as an officer.

Hark is recorded as an older contemporary and comrade of Gaunt, and their association is the central relationship in his story.
