Steloc Aethon
Captain of the 19th Company, The White Spider
Also known as The White Spider
Homeworld: Calth
Steloc Aethon, known as the White Spider, was an Ultramarines captain from Calth who commanded the 19th Company during the Underground War. A native of the planet, he operated within its subterranean arcologies—vast underground residential complexes. He is entirely distinct from Aethon Shaan of the Raven Guard Legion, an officer associated with Deliverance with whom he shares only a name.
During the campaign, Aethon defended transit tunnels and caverns against the invading XVII Legion, known as the Word Bearers. He maintained these subterranean defences until Kurtha Sedd, a Word Bearer who sought the destruction of Calth, killed him in the darkness beneath his native world.
Aethon’s body remained in the cave networks where he fell. The realm of Ultramar nevertheless retains his title and company command within the official Calth lists, recording his death on the world that raised him.
