Domor

Domor is a trooper of the Tanith First-and-Only regiment, an Imperial Guard formation raised on the world of Tanith. He is among the Tanith survivors who, following the destruction of their homeworld, served under Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt across a succession of Imperial campaigns. Within the regiment he is known by the nickname "Shoggy", and accounts of his service note that he sustained a severe eye injury during one of the Ghosts’ engagements, after which he was fitted with augmetic optical implants; this episode is recorded as having reinforced his standing as a steady and technically capable member of the unit.

Over the course of the regiment’s campaigns, Domor is depicted as a dependable rank-and-file soldier whose technical aptitude, particularly with equipment and auspex-related duties, distinguishes him among his fellow Ghosts. He appears alongside recurring figures of the Tanith First-and-Only, including Gaunt and senior non-commissioned personnel, and later tradition holds that his experience and reliability contributed to an increase in responsibility within the regiment as the series of campaigns progressed.
