Tanith

Tanith was a forest world in the Sabbat Worlds whose nalwood trees actually walked. Warmaster Slaydo sent Ibram Gaunt there to raise three Guard regiments; a Chaos splinter fleet burned the forests on founding day. Only the Tanith First got off-world, and they have been a ghost regiment ever since. Stealth and an unfailing sense of direction are what the trees left them.
