Brostin

Brostin is a trooper of the Tanith First-and-Only regiment of the Astra Militarum, recorded as its flamer specialist in the Gaunt’s Ghosts narrative. He is counted among the survivors of Tanith, a Nihtgane world destroyed shortly after the raising of its regiment, and he serves thereafter as one of the enlisted rank-and-file who accompany Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt across the regiment’s campaigns.

Within the regiment, Brostin holds the flamer as his assigned weapon, a role suited to close-quarters and clearance actions and one that recurs across the unit’s various deployments as chronicled in the series.
