Bonin

Bonin is a Tanith-born scout and sniper of the Tanith First-and-Only, an Imperial Guard regiment in the Gaunt’s Ghosts series. He is counted among the native Tanith personnel who joined the regiment after the destruction of their homeworld, and he is recorded as one of its scout element, a role tasked with reconnaissance, infiltration, and long-range observation ahead of the main body of troops.

Within the regiment, Bonin is associated with the unit’s sniper and scouting cadre, working at various points alongside other specialists in marksmanship and forward reconnaissance.
