Lukas the Trickster

Lukas the Trickster is the Blood Claw who would not grow up, a Space Wolf the priests have failed to civilise and the enemy has failed to keep dead. He wears a stasis bomb in his chest as a last laugh, which is either a joke or a doctrine depending on who is standing next to him.

Lords have tried to exile him, bury him in suicidal charges, and pretend he is not the reason a war turned. Fenris still produces him, which says as much about Fenris as it does about Lukas. The last laugh is literal: whoever kills him may freeze in place for the next joke.

The sagas cannot decide if he is lucky or cursed. He has never asked them to. The punchline is that he is still serving.
