Jorin Bloodhowl

Jorin Bloodhowl was Jarl of Dekk-Tra, the Space Wolves 13th, a Fenrisian who kept the Wulfen as a secret rather than a slogan and still took that company to Prospero and through the Alaxxes killing-ground. He was still jarl at Trisolian when Russ needed every ugly tool he had.

The 13th was the company other Wolves pretended was just another great company. Bloodhowl knew better. He spent the Heresy using that knowledge and not explaining it, which is how Fenris keeps a curse in the order of battle without putting it on a banner.

Later the sagas put Bulveye in the chair. Jorin's own ending is a blank, which is how the Rout files a jarl who walked too close to the curse and did not come back on schedule. The Wulfen did not become less real because their keeper went quiet.
