Jorin Bloodhowl

Jorin Bloodhowl was a Fenrisian and the jarl of Dekk-Tra, the 13th Great Company of the Space Wolves, during the Horus Heresy. He kept the Wulfen, the Legion’s cursed warriors, as a concealed part of his company rather than a publicised one.

The other Space Wolves treated the 13th as one great company among the rest, but Bloodhowl knew its nature and acted on that knowledge without explaining it. In this way the Legion retained the curse within its order of battle without displaying it openly. He led the company to Prospero and through the killing ground at Alaxxes, and he was still its jarl at Trisolian, where Leman Russ, Primarch of the Space Wolves, required every resource available to him.

Later Space Wolves sagas name Bulveye as the company’s commander. No account records Bloodhowl’s own end, and the Legion’s records leave his fate unstated. The Wulfen remained a fact of the Legion’s strength after their keeper disappeared from the record.
