Klord Empion

Klord Empion was Chapter Master of the Ultramarines Ninth, the youngest of those masters when Calth burned, a Macragge officer who learned command in the same hour the Word Bearers taught Ultramar what betrayal cost. He was on Macragge's Honour for the worst of it.

He fought the void war off Calth and later the killing on Thoas, a Chapter Master who should have had a century of theoreticals and instead got a practical written in brother-blood. Empion did not freeze. That is why Gage could still use him.

After Thoas the file thins. The Ninth still had a master on the lists. Whether Empion lived to see the Codex or simply vanished into the Scouring is a Macraggan silence. Youth, in that Legion, was not protection. It was a resource Guilliman spent.
