Scipio Vorolanus leads the Thunderbolts of the Ultramarines 2nd Company, a tactical squad Sicarius uses when he needs reconnaissance without admitting he needs scouts. Black Reach put him in a drop pod, then in a cavern hunt with Telion, then in a victory he was not sure was worth the brothers it spent.
On Espandor he walked into Corinth disguised as the enemy, found Corsair Queen Salombar, and held the company standard after Ancient Vandius lost an arm. Sicarius took the credit. Scipio kept the doubt.
Damnos got him too. He is the sergeant who admires his captain and still counts the bodies. That is a healthier 2nd Company than the posters suggest.
