Ipluvien Maximal

Ipluvien Maximal was a loyal magos of Mars, a priest of the Noosphere who decided that if the Red Planet was going to fall to Kelbor-Hal it would not fall intact. He fought the Schism with data-laws and reactor overrides rather than with a Titan's manners.

When the traitor forges closed on his district he detonated the reactors. Maximal died in that light, a Mechanicus loyalist who treated annihilation as the last honest binary. The Noosphere lost a defender. The traitors lost a city block they had already counted as theirs.

Mars still runs on the kind of arithmetic he died inside. The Schism did not make him a saint. It made him a crater with a name, which is how the Omnissiah files a protest when the priesthood has already split.
