Kelbor-Hal

Kelbor-Hal was Fabricator-General of Mars who opened the Vaults of Moravec for Horus and split the Mechanicum into loyal forges and the Dark Mechanicum.

He wanted the Dragon’s sealed knowledge and an Omnissiah that answered to Mars, not Terra’s treaties. The Heresy gave him Titan war in the forges, Magma City burning, and a priesthood that still quotes his brief whenever a forge turns coat.

Whether he still sits in some sealed Martian dark is a rumour Mars will not audit in public. The Schism is the monument; every later heretek forge is still arguing with it.

Mars–Terra is his graph with Horus and the Martian Schism: the red world whose Vaults he opened, and the Sol war that made Fabricator-General a title the Dark Mechanicum still wears like a stolen seal.
