Kelbor-Hal

Kelbor-Hal was Fabricator-General of Mars, highest priest of the Mechanicum, and the man who opened the Vaults of Moravec when Horus offered him a bigger truth than Terra's treaties. He led the Schism, birthed the Dark Mechanicum, and turned the Red Planet into a wound the Imperium blockaded rather than healed.

He had wanted the Dragon's secrets and the right to treat the Omnissiah as a local god, not an Emperor's alias. The Heresy gave him civil war in the forges, titan against titan, and a priesthood split along a fault he personally widened. Every later heretek forge is still quoting the brief.

Whether he still sits in some sealed Martian dark is a rumour Mars does not audit in public. The schism is the monument.
