Severian

Severian, called the Wolf, was a Luna Wolf who left Cthonia's manners behind, took Malcador's black as a Knight-Errant, and walked the Molech war as a killer the Sigillite could still aim. He was Lupercal's Legion with the loyalty filed off and the teeth left on.

Terra used him. Molech used him harder. In the years after, the Grey Knights lists name Iapto, and the cautious biographies treat that as Severian's second life rather than a coincidence of Titan's paperwork.

Whether the Wolf truly became that Paladin or merely vanished into a recruiting myth, he did not return to Cthonia as a Son of Horus. Malcador's later brotherhood needed wolves. It was not fussy about the pelt, or about who had worn it first.
