Phoroc

Phoroc was an Imperial Navy admiral who seized the north of Tallarn and the Cobalack approaches, a Terran void officer trying to win a ground war with orbital geometry. He treated the desert as a sea because that was the map he understood, and because the alternative was admitting the dust was in charge.

Victory's Sacrament took the beating over the Northern Desolation, a flagship punished for lingering where Iron Warriors and dust storms do their best work. Phoroc's northern hold became another Tallarn argument: taken, held, and then priced in hulls.

He vanishes from the later tallies, which is common for Navy lords who win a sector of poison and then discover there is nothing left to govern. Terra had sent an admiral. Tallarn returned a rumour with a broken flagship in the margin.
