Maldovar Colquan
Tribune Actuarius of the Stratarchis, Custodian Tribune
Also known as Tribune Colquan, Colquan
Homeworld: Terra
Maldovar Colquan is a Tribune of the Adeptus Custodes and Actuarius of the Stratarchis, sent from Terra to observe the primarch Guilliman. Valoris dispatched him after the Lion’s Gate. His prolonged residence in the Imperial Palace is reflected in his attitudes: he distrusts the resurrected primarch, dislikes the Primaris Space Marines, and has little patience for unaugmented humans.
Colquan led the Custodes contingent of the Indomitus Crusade for more than a decade and fought at Raukos. When a reconnaissance mission at Gathalamor developed into a war, he arrived there with fifty of the Ten Thousand, the body of warriors that forms the Adeptus Custodes.
Guilliman regards Colquan as both useful and disquieting. The Adeptus Custodes, known as the Emperor’s Companions, were not designed to feel regard for the Imperium they preserved, and Colquan’s working relationship with Guilliman shows how that disposition operates in the routine business of command.
