Maldovar Colquan is a Tribune of the Adeptus Custodes, Actuarius of the Stratarchis, the one Valoris sent off Terra to watch Guilliman after the Lion's Gate. He spent too long in the Palace. It shows: he distrusts the resurrected primarch, dislikes Primaris, and has little patience for unaugmented humans.
He led the Custodes contingent of Indomitus for more than a decade, fought at Raukos, and arrived at Gathalamor with fifty of the Ten Thousand when a reconnaissance job became a war. Guilliman finds him useful and alarming in the same briefing.
The Emperor's Companions were not built to like the Imperium they saved. Colquan is what that looks like when it has to take meetings.
